Make-up Senior Formal Portraits will be held on August 21 from 8AM - 4:30PM in the media center. If you do not have your formal portrait taken through Legacy Studios, you will not be in the 2024 Gem yearbook. There is no sitting fee to simply have your yearbook portrait made. - The School District of Pickens County is making a transition to a new online registration system called FinalForms during the summer of 2023. The registration sites (linked below) will be unavailable until July 10, 2023.
This includes the New Student, Back to School, and Express Update sites.

This week has been bus driver appreciation week! Today PHS faculty and staff dressed in yellow to show our appreciation for our bus drivers who keep our students safe! Thank you to the transportation department for your service to PHS!

Congratulations to our Male and Female Scholar-Athletes of the Month: Nicholas Alexander and Freda Ruiz. Nicholas is a member of the Boys Tennis team and Freda is a member of the Varsity Track and Field team. Mrs. Dunson’s English 4 class went on a field trip today to visit Pickens Elementary School. They collaborated with Mrs. Seaborn’s 2nd grade class in a pen pal project. It was a service learning project where the HS students helped the second graders develop their writing skills. Today, they met up to do an egg hunt and a STEM challenge.
