The Pickens Band is the 2016 and 2018 SCBDA class AAA State Champions and the 2019 AAA Runner-up. The band consistently recieves superior rating at marching contests and concert performance assessment.
The PHS Varsity and Junior Varsity Winterguard are prestigious ensembles that perform in WGI and CWEA.
