National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. And for more than 80 years, it has prepared today's students to be tomorrow's leaders.
Membership to Beta Club is by invitation only. A student’s grade point average must be 3.75 or higher after the first semester of the their freshman year to be invited. Membership is maintained by completing 12 service hours per year as well as continuing to maintain a cumulative 3.75. All freshmen who qualify for membership will receive a written invitation; the induction ceremony occurs during April of the student’s freshman year. Students who remain in good standing throughout their high school career will wear a National Beta Club stole at graduation ceremonies. We currently have over 200 members of the PHS Beta Club.
