Congratulations to Preston for earning his GED!!!!! Sometimes we are surprised by our student’s success and then there are students like our Preston. We are not at all surprised by his very quick success when we saw his fantastic entrance scores. As smart as he is, he is equally humble. He more than excelled in each section and the first thing he did was smile and say “thank you”. He already has a career plan for the immediate future and long-term goals to further his education to expand his career even further. Preston, we know anything that you do, you will be at the top!! We are so proud of you!!
Stop what you are doing and give a huge applause to Mikayla for earning her GED! She is the perfect example of never giving up!! She worked so hard to finish up her final section of her GED. She put in a big haul effort, zeroed in on her math skills, and made what she thought was impossible, POSSIBLE!!! She had our whole staff jumping up and down celebrating her achievement. Congratulations to Elizabeth for earning her GED last night. Starting a family at a young age, she wanted to devote all of her time to her kids. Since they have grown some, she wanted to continue to be a good example and encourage them to always put school first. She did exactly that!!! Reyna is intelligent and driven. She is fluent in American Sign Language and already has a career set in motion as an interpreter. We know she will be just as successful there as she was here. HUGE congratulations to Tyler for earning his GED!!! We have all kinds of different students here. Some students start this program in a full sprint while others take a bit more time. Tyler came in very young and was not sure what direction he wanted to go in. Once he had a plan, he buckled down, shifted gears, and knocked it out of the park!!!! His test scores proved not only to his teachers but to himself that there is nothing out of his reach!! Tyler, we are so proud to have watched you grow into a path driven young man. We know you have a bright future ahead!!
