EOC Make-up Testing
Posted on 12/03/2020

Parents and Guardians of Pickens High School Students,

This message is to inform that any student who has not taken their required EOC test for their EOC course will be offered a make-up testing session for their EOC test on Tuesday, January 19th. Your student may be dropped off in the car line and enter through the student parking entrance at Pickens High School no later than 8:45. Upon arrival, students will be directed to their testing session. Once testing is completed, students may be picked up in the car line area. Testing is not timed but for your planning, it usually ends around 11:30 am. Please make sure your student wears a face covering and brings a charged chrome book.  This year, the EOC test accounts for 10% of your student’s overall grade in the course. If the test is not taken, the student cannot earn credit for the course, and will not be able to progress in the subject area coursework.

In addition, we have been granted an extension of the testing window to further accommodate students in quarantine. If your student is unable to attend on January 19th, please plan for your student to attend one of the following make-up sessions to be held on our Remote Learning Fridays:

Friday, January 29

Friday, February 5

Friday, February 12

Please direct questions to our Testing Coordinator, Lauren Corn by email at laurencorn@pickens.k12.sc.usor by phone at 397-3600, ext. 3606
